Excellent quality sound and has played all the DivX files i've gave it (including .divx ones). Got this this to go with the HDTV i got and pictures definitely improved when connected via the HDMI.
Another nice touch is the speakers are wall mountable aswell, the multi region is also very handy - can at last play all my region 1 DVDs again!

This unit is good as an entry level Home Theatre system, however, I was looking forward to using the USB slot for playing my music easily. It works but is very slow and the Navigation system doesn't allow you to access folders on your USB Device. It will display the folders, but doesn't have any way of navigating to them. Lets say you have 4 Albums on the USB Device. If you want to play the the 3rd Album, you have to start with the first one, Click Next on your Remote...go through every track on Album 1...pressing next every time...same again through Album 2...till you reach album Three.
The Remote control unit is not very responsive either. I'm using it in a Straight Line Distance of about 4 Metres and I have to press it a few times sometimes, before I get a response.
Other than that, the sound quality is pretty good.
