I've been looking around for a large screen for ages and finally decided on this one and haven't regretted my decision once. The picture quality is superb, colours are deep and rich and it gives an excellent response on all the DVD's I've watched so far (Apocalipto looks simply stunning).
Sound is good, maybe not as sharp as some I've heard but this is not an issue if, like me, you are going to be using a separate amp.
If you are trying to decide whether to go for this or maybe a Sony Bravia I would say the Sony does have a "slight" edge (and I mean slight) but it is nowehere near worth the extra £800-900 you'd need to shell out for one.
Definately the best buy I've made this year.
Excellent Value For 1080p 52" December 15, 2007 Q. Kayani (UK) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I own this TV and when I compared it with other brands for price no one could match it, but because its cheap it dont mean it lacks in any way. The picture is pin sharp when fed with 1080p signal, colours are vibrant and the blacks are the best I have seen on a LCD screen.
Why spend £3000 on a Sony, when you can can get same results with this TV.
