Marmitek PowerMid XL infrared receiver

With an extra receiver for your Marmitek PowerMid XL infrared extender set you can control audio-visual equipment which is located in a second room. If your equipment is hidden away in a cupboard then you simply connect the optional Marmitek IR Eye extender cable to the receiver and you can control the equipment without having to open the cupboard doors. The Marmitek PowerMid XL extra receiver also works in combination with Marmitek remote controls which are equipped with a radio frequency (RF) transmitter such as the Marmitek EasyControl 8, the Marmitek EasyTouch 35 and the Marmitek PC remote. It works by receiving the RF signals (which can pass through walls and ceilings) from the remote control and converting them into infrared signals (which can't pass through walls and ceilings) allowing you to control your audio visual equipment at a distance, without the need for a PowerMid XL transmitter.
