I ordered one of these `bad boys' thru Amazon, delivery was spot on as usual.
Ok, was a bit worried about having a white TV in my living room, but sat on top of an Alphason Walnut cabinet it looks the nuts.
32" is about the right size for my living room, personally i think anything over this size looks vulgar unless you have a really large room to put it in.
I sit about 8-10 feet away and it fills your view nicely.
In terms of looks its draws "ooooh's and aaaah's" off anyone who looks at it, on or off.
In terms of picture quality, don't expect miracles. LCD technology is limited and this is a mass market entry level model. It is heavily dependent on source.
Modern, upscaled DVD's look good. The Mrs's Sex and The City DVD's look terrible.
Main freeview channels look suprising good (BBC, C4, Sky 3 etc)
Peripheral channels (ITV2 etc) look poor, blocky and pixelated but this is due to signal strength.
I have not tried Sky.
I have not tried any HD source which is where this TV should come into its own.
Generally colours are vibrant and clear, lots of settings to play with as well.
I had read in multiple reviews that the sound was poor, I disagree. The sound is better than i expected and more than acceptable for normal viewing, again lots of options.
Overall, i doubt there is a better LCD at this price. Its built for HD but SD performance is pretty good overall.
Recommended.
