Freeview works well with a weak signal, better than my sony, this is a very good machine.
Too much backlight seepage for a high end TV August 13, 2007 J. Braithwaite (United Kingdom) 23 out of 24 found this review helpful
I brought this TV on the strength of a 'What HiFi? Sound and Vision' Best Buy review. At first really impressed - easy to set up, looks great aesthetically, vibrant colours. great contrast etc.
However, the set is badly let down by the amount of back light seepage that is evident as bands of brightness at top and bottom of screen - this gets worse after the set has been operating for an hour plus. Annoying enough for me to return the set within a week in exchange for a Sony.

Highly delighted with this Toshiba and excellent value for money. Easy set-up, with autotune. Slim-line design very smart and picture quality superb. Would recommend.
Great TV, Fantastic Service January 11, 2008 Paul (Stoke on Trent, UK) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
The TV scored highly in a recent Which? report and I was not disappointed. However, on receipt, the screen had a 'dead pixel'. I reported the fault on line to Amazon the same day, collection was arranged for the next day, and the day after that, my replacement arrived! Their price was the best I could find online or in the high street by a wide margin. Amazon deserve credit for an amazing deal backed up by unbeatable customer service.
