5 out of 5 stars You won't find better   January 23, 2009

I've connected this cable between my Sony Bravia and a Sony DVD recorder and the result is Brilliant, and despite being a fussy Git I cannot fault the picture or sound quality. I don't know the true RRP.of this cable, Amazon say £29.99 and I've seen it advertised for £39.99.This certainly isn't a cheap cable,It looks and feels quality and for the amazon price of £12.71 it is a real bargain,You also get the great Amazon service as a bonus. As for the Expensive v. Cheap HDMI cable debate, just remember the tale of 'The Emperor's Suit of Clothes',It says it all.

5 out of 5 stars Bargain HDMI cable which does the job of much more expensive alternatives   February 4, 2009

I have more expensive HDMI cables and own five different ones. I've tried swapping them to see if I could detect a difference and I have not succeeded. I am not saying that all cables are the same but if there are are qualitative differences I have not noticed them. I use a Sony BDP-S350 and PS3 and playback on a Sony Bravia 40" 1080P screen. If you want to pay more go ahead but you'll be hard pushed to see much better performance at 3 or 4 times the price. Save your pennies and get decent kit in the first place. The old adage is "rubbish in, rubbish out" so when planning your systems spend the money on the source equipment to get the full benefits. This lead is attractive, appears robust, and delivers a clean signal. Go ahead any buy with confidence.

I replaced a much more expensive HDMI (which I'd damaged) with this one and I can't see any difference in performance. What more can you ask?

4 out of 5 stars Decent HDMI Cable - Don't Pay More!   February 8, 2009

Perfectly decent, well-made HDMI cable which does the job.

It's carrying a digital signal, so it'll either work or it won't... unlike analogue cables, buying more expensive alternative will not make any difference to the quality of the signal!!
