These come up as Mitsubishi 03RG20 on DVD identifier - so are made by the same company as the reliable Verbatim brand. As Mitsubishi discs are second only to the mighty Taiyo Yuden these are a very good buy.

Used in both stand-alone recorder and a PC burner with no problems at all and the surface takes ink well. What I want from recordable DVD media is reliability and, so far, this is what I have.

These DVD-Rs are genuine 16X speed for copying and extremely reliable. Rarely have I had a failure. And using an Epson R300 printer excellent colour printing is achieved. When writing with Nero you can clearly see the 16x speed confirmed. I've also noticed that where DVD-R do not work on early standalone DVD players which only take DVD+R, these 16x DVD-R do generally work OK. I make video features/short movies and this is a real bonus as it saves having to make duplicate runs of both disc types. Highly recommended and at a good price.

I have used these discs many times over the years and I don't think I've had one coaster yet. I do not use them for the printable face so I can't comment on that.
At the moment I'm using a TSSTcorp DL burner but used them on NEC burners too with no problems.
I've tried a lot of brands over time and to be honest I keep returning to buy these just for their sheer reliability.
