5 out of 5 stars Stunning picture   April 24, 2009

I am completely amazed at the picture quality of this flatscreen. I previously had a Samsung 32" screen, which performed well for upscaling on DVD and also HD through my computer, but was absolutely awful for freeview.

The Panasonic has the best freeview I've ever seen in an LCD, and although we watch many DVDs, terrestrial broadcast TV is still our main viewing habit.

The colours are vibrant and the motion is smooth without being sickly and artificial, the sound is pretty good for the size of the unit.

Highly recommended

I purchased this LCD TV from amazon around a month ago now and I gotta say its an incredible TV.

For a start the picture is the best ive seen on a LCD TV, and can run in 1080p on HDMI. This maybe downscaled to 720p but the picture is sharp and colour quality is almost perfect.

The TV comes with component connections, 3 x HDMI ports, 2 x SCART and other necessary connections.

As for the sound its very bassey compared to my old Samsung, but im loving this TV.

I would recommend this TV to anyone and for 400 quid you can't go wrong.

Amazing service from amazon once again!.

Having returned my sony KDL26v4000 due to it's awful motion blur and red smearing, I had high hopes for this Panasonic. I was not disapointed. It has an excellent Freeview picture with a good clear programme guide. DVDs (from a pretty cheap DVD player) are also very good. There is no noticable motion blur, with good clear picture quality - and I am picky when it comes to any AV kit. Sound quality is also very good being clear and distortion free at normal levels. An excellent TV and I can recommend it.

Bought this tv for my bedroom and what a tv it is.i now prefer to watch tv in bed rather than in the living room.when the time comes i will most definatley by Panasonic for the main room.
Picture quality has vivid colours and very black...er...well ..blacks.
It is probably the best picture i`ve seen in this class of tv.
It also has a very wide viewing angle to boot. The sound is excellent with great depth and clarity which is a surprise as flat tv`s usually have pretty average to poor sound quailty. There are lots of adjustments and options that can be changed on sound and picture to suit you own viewing preferences.EPG is very good, easy to understand and quick to react. Even the handset is well set out and easy to use and understand with nice big buttons for those of us with sausage type fingers.
Samsung LCD tv`s are said to be leaders in the LCD market and they do,do great tv`s but if you can spend just a few pounds more, the Panasonic will not disapoint.
As per usual Amazon service was perfect.

5 out of 5 stars Great all round LCD TV   September 5, 2009

Being the wrong side of 60 this was tremendous step into a new age of television experience. After a lot of debate, reading of various reviews etc with brain almost fit to burst,I settled on this particular LCD TV. Opened the box, plugged it in and the auto scan took over. Nothing for me to do really. Perfect. Previoulsy we thought the old ariel in the loft would have to be renewed but no problems for this TV at all. All freeview channels tuned in easily like magic and the usual analoge ones too. We were more than impressed at the quality of both picture and sound. The set is in the bedroom and certainy looks the part. To coin a phrase "you pays your money and takes your choice" - the screen menus/guides are clear and easy to understand. All in all a quality TV for the price. Given there are many cheaper versions on the market at the moment it was worth paying the extra money for this set - it even has an on/off switch and a slot for your digital memory card! Still have to get to grips with the rest of the technical aspects but for now all is well and we are more than happy. Lots of inputs and various modes to get used to yet - my how technology has improved!
